Dr. Cosme received his medical degree from Instituto Superior de Ciencias Médicas in Habana, Cuba, where he specialized in internal medicine. After migrating to the United States, Dr. Cosme attended and graduated from Texas Tech University in El Paso, specializing again in internal medicine. 

Dr. Cosme has been in practice for more than 20 years. He has his Texas medical license and is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
